InstaStaff are currently recruiting for a Assistant Production Manager to join their client based in Smethwick, Birmingham.
To support the current senior management team with the day-to-day production shop floor operational issues to ensure the highest quality and customer service at the lowest cost.
Duties and responsibilities Assistant Production Manager:
- Assist senior management to ensure daily production plans are met.
- Conduct daily shopfloor meetings with production team leaders.
- Generate shift reports for senior managers.
- Assist in resolving production shop floor issues.
- Responsible for issuing and collecting daily production plans to the relevant teams.
- Assist with handling shop floor personnel issues.
- Assist with conducting staff disciplinary and grievance matters.
- Assist in encouraging a positive and work focused culture within the production areas.
- Assist with ensuring the highest hygiene and housekeeping standards.
Skills required for the Assistant Production Manager:
- Enthusiastic and positive approach.
- A mature graduate would be preferable.
- Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills.
- Proven leadership experience within a food environment would be preferable.
- Computer literate.
- Must be responsible, committed and positive.
Working Hours of the Assistant Production Manager
- 07:30 – 17:00 Monday to Friday
Package for the Assistant Production Manager:
- Up to £40,000 per annum
- 20 days holiday
