Application Support Engineer (Engineering Systems) - Bridgwater - Permanent - £35,000 - £50,000 - Hybrid Working

We are looking for a proactive and dynamic Engineering Systems / Application Support professional to join our client on their exciting digital transformation. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of their engineering systems and providing expert application support to internal teams.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for engineering systems and applications
- Work across multiple information systems and ICT implementations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues
- Develop and maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures
- Work to maintain BAU changes 1st-4th line
- Monitor system performance and capacity to ensure optimal functionality

Requirements:
- Proven experience in systems development and application support
- Strong knowledge of engineering systems and applications
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant certifications (e.g. ITIL, Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus
- Willingness to work on-site in Bridgwater 3 days a week with occasional travel to client site at Hinkley Point C
