Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
Location: Wakefield
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000
We are actively recruiting a Logistics Coordinator to join our reputable Wakefield based client on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure driver routes are planned within legal and industry standards, focusing on compliance.
- Collaborate with Senior Transport Planner and Resource Planners for smooth departmental operations.
- Monitor KPIs, implementing improvements as needed.
- Accurately process and book orders via appropriate systems, minimizing costs and optimizing efficiency.
- Consolidate orders, route multi-drops, and maximize trailer use.
- Communicate effectively with clients and warehouse planning teams.
- Continuously seek opportunities for departmental improvement.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Senior Transport Planner.
