Job : Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer
Salary: Up to £40,000 + Company Van + Fuel Card
Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Overtime available after 42 hours) + On-call rota
Location: Sheffield with regional travel

Job Summary
Randstad CPE is seeking a qualified and experienced Commercial Gas Engineer on behalf of our client to maintain and service various retail sites across Sheffield and East Yorkshire.

Main Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance tasks within allocated timeframes.
• Specialise in commercial combustion, heating, and HVAC systems, handling both planned and reactive maintenance.
• Undertake other building services tasks, including fabric maintenance, HVAC, mechanical work, and related duties.
• Provide on-call support as part of the callout rota.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of plant rooms, workshops, and storage areas.
• Carry out new installations and perform major and minor repairs to heating systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults in systems and equipment, including basic electrical fault-finding.

Essential Qualifications/Skills

• Experience in reactive maintenance.
• Core Safety Certification: COCN1
• Commercial Gas Certifications: TPCP1A, ICPN1, CORT1, CIGA1
• Desirable Domestic Gas Qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT1, CPA1, ICAE1.
• Competent installation skills.
• Valid UK Driving Licence (maximum of 6 points).
