Linsco are currently recruiting for a Site Engineer with a strong background in slip form.

You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the engineering aspects of slip form operations, ensuring that all work is executed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. This role is critical in the construction of vertical structures such as silos, cores, and towers, where slip form construction is utilised for continuous pouring of concrete.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the project management team to develop detailed plans for slip form operations, including setting out, levelling, and surveying tasks.
• Ensure that all necessary materials, equipment, and resources are prepared and available for uninterrupted slip form work.
• Oversee the setup and operation of slip form equipment, ensuring that all machinery and formwork are correctly positioned and maintained.
• Monitor the continuous pour of concrete, ensuring the correct mix, placement, and compaction to achieve the desired structural integrity and finish.
• Supervise the placement of reinforcement, embedded items, and other components that need to be integrated into the slip form process.
• Maintain accurate records of all slip form activities, including daily logs, material usage, and any deviations from the planned work.
• Implement and enforce strict health and safety protocols on site, particularly focusing on the unique challenges and risks associated with slip form work.

Key Requirements:

• Slip form
• Proven experience as a Site Engineer in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, health and safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
• Proficiency in using engineering software and tools such as AutoCAD and surveying instruments.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
