Randstad are recruiting for a social Value officer based in St.Albans to join an outstanding construction and development company that Excel in project delivery in fit out and construction services across the UK for the public, commercial and regulated sectors.

Role Overview:

Offering competitive salary of up to £55,000 + Car/Allowance and Great benefits

As a Social Value Officer, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring projects benefit local communities, promote sustainability, and contribute to a better future within the social housing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement social value strategies across our construction projects.
  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate social value initiatives from planning through to delivery.
  • Engage with local communities, stakeholders, and clients to identify and maximise social value opportunities.
  • Measure and report on social value outcomes, ensuring alignment with industry standards and company goals.
  • Promote diversity, inclusion, and environmental sustainability in all aspects of our work.
  • completing case studies,social media and production of newsletters.

Requirements:

  • Must hold a full UK driving licence for a minimum of 12 months (company vehicle provided for work use only).
  • A strong commitment to social impact and experience in social housing.
  • Knowledge of social value frameworks such as the Social Value Act or TOMS.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience within social value and creating programmes for residents.
