Energy and Sustainability Consultant

This is an exciting opportunity to join a multidisciplined building services consultancy who provide a holistic approach to the built environment. They are on the lookout for an Energy and Sustainability Consultant to join their team in Brighton and work on a range of commercial projects.

Role responsibilities for an Energy & Sustainability Consultant:

  • Undertake Part L analysis and produce EPCs for non-domestic properties
  • Produce design reports such as sustainability and LZC feasibility studies
  • Use IES software to produce thermal models and carry out Part O and daylight assessments
  • The role will incorporate aspects of BREEAM, such as evidence analysis of reports from projects
  • Undertake site visits and inspections for commercial projects

The ideal Energy and Sustainability Consultant will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Sustainability Consultant within the construction industry
  • A degree within a sustainability, energy, or environmental science field
  • A Non-Domestic Energy Assessor qualification, with demonstratable experience of carrying out EPCs for commercial projects
  • Working experience with IES-VE software to carry out energy modelling
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
