We are currently recruiting for a Service Charge Officer on behalf of our public sector organisation based in East London.

The role will provide a high quality service, focusing on leasehold and service charges.

The successful applicant will have previous service charge/leasehold finance experience, ideally within a local authority or housing association.

This is a contract role and is paying £25 per hour.

Key duties will include:

· Calculate and produce accurate actual and estimated service charge statements

· Assist with annual service charge budgets

· Prepare monthly reports

· Manage service charge enquiries

· Investigate and response to service charge or other lease queries

· Answer queries by telephone and email, providing high quality customer service

· Provide support and advice to colleagues on service charge and leasehold matters

· Managing service charge accounts, preparing estimates and accounts

· Responding to customer queries and complaints over the telephone and in writing

· Provide clear breakdowns of services charges for customers
