About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Stainless Steel Pipe Welder and Fabricator to join our team in Knowsley. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for a dedicated professional with experience in stainless steel fabrication and welding, specifically with 316 & 304 pipes. If you have a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabrication: Interpret engineering drawings and schematics to fabricate stainless steel components with precision.
• Welding: Perform high-quality TIG and MIG welding on stainless steel, ensuring all welds meet industry standards.
• Quality Control: Inspect and test welded joints and components to ensure they meet the required specifications.
• Assembly: Assemble fabricated parts into complete products or structures as per project requirements.
• Maintenance: Keep welding equipment and tools in top working condition through regular maintenance.
• Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all company and industry safety standards, including the proper use of PPE.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, project managers, and team members to ensure project deadlines and specifications are met.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a fabricator welder, with significant work involving stainless steel.
• Welding Skills: Proficient in TIG and MIG welding techniques.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Attention to Detail: Demonstrated accuracy and precision in fabrication and welding tasks.
• Physical Fitness: Capable of handling physically demanding tasks, including lifting and working in various positions.
• Certifications: Relevant welding certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
• License: Full UK driver’s license is required.
