Quantity Surveyor (Residential)

Our client, a leading Residential Main Contractor, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The successful candidate will be working on an exciting New Build Residential project in the early stages, consisting of 950 apartments near Camden Market.

Role: Quantity Surveyor (Residential/Commercial)

Location: Camden (on-site) or Uxbridge (head office) Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 (depending on experience)
Start: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of cost planning, control, and reporting for a large-scale residential development.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure financial success and cost efficiency.
  • Oversee procurement processes and subcontractor management.
  • Prepare accurate valuations, payments, and final accounts.
  • Identify and manage project risks.

Requirements:

  • 6-8 years of Quantity Surveying experience, ideally with a focus on residential projects (commercial experience will also be considered).
  • Strong knowledge of cost control, project management, and contract administration.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a dynamic team and under tight deadlines.
