Job Title: Client Accountant

Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum

Location: Hatfield

Contract: Permanent, Full Time 

Hours: Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.30pm, hybrid minimum 2 days in the office

A dynamic and passionate team in the world of accounting are seeking an experienced Client Accountant to join them and be at the heart of their client relationships, to deliver exceptional services and effective financial solutions.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• A wealth of experience managing own client portfolio
• Full or part qualified or qualified by experience (ACA. ACCA, ACAEW)
• Extensive knowledge of VAT, personal tax, corporation tax etc
• Experience in tax planning and producing management accounts
• Must have good experience of Xero
• Patience and a friendly demeanour.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Confident telephone manner and confident meeting with people virtually

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage a portfolio of clients regularly meeting with them virtually or in office
• Prepare quarterly management accounts, and able to articulate complex financial information to your client so they understand
• Review annual salaries and dividends
• Finalise VAT and self-assessment returns
• Welcome new clients & explain tax rules
