Skip/RoRo Driver

Salary: Up to £42,000 depending on experience

We are a successful Waste Management company based in South-East London, committed to providing efficient and reliable waste collection services to businesses across the region.

We are seeking a skilled Skip/RoRo Driver to join our team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have experience driving Skip lorries and be familiar with the roads in London.

Skip/RoRo Driver Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Vehicle to collect containerss from various business addresses across London.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment to ensure safety and roadworthiness.
• Adhere to all road traffic signs and transport legislation.
• Maintain cleanliness and good condition of the vehicle.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and report any vehicle damage, accidents, or mechanical problems promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with team members and clients.

Requirements:

• Current HGV license, minimum group C, with no more than 6 penalty points or disqualification in the previous 10 years.
• Current Driver Certificate of Competence card.
• Willingness to undergo further training as required.
• Strong teamwork, initiative, and customer service skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
