Production Welder/Fabricator

Our client is offering an exciting opportunity for a Production Welder/Fabricator to join a very well-established company based in Burscough (L40).

As an established manufacturing group based in Burscough (L40) we are looking to start an experienced Metals Fabricator to help meet increasing business levels and production demands.

As a Metals Fabricator you will have responsibility for cutting and joining metals at our site.

You must be experienced with MIG welding and all aspects of fabrication. The candidate must be able to work competently as an individual and be part of a bigger team when required.

A Drivers licence will be required as occasional site visits will be required.

All transport tools and expenses will be paid.

You must be able to travel daily to Burscough for this position.

You must have the following knowledge, skills and experience to apply:

• Experience within a welding/fabrication shop environment
• Use of general workshop machinery (Bandsaw, Pedestal drill and iron worker etc)
• Problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• A high standard of safety awareness
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Ability to meet production targets allocating resources effectively ensuring products
• meet required standards
• Some experience of playground equipment and steel structures is preferrable

Salary: From £12.50 - £14 per hour
