Join a leading main contractor with an exceptional reputation in the infrastructure industry!!

We are seeking an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor to join our client's HS2 team. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for managing the costs and contracts for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) packages across a £500m++ project from inception through to final accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage contracts and agreements with suppliers and sub contractors
  • Assist in evaluating Early Warning Notices and Compensation Events
  • Monitor and report on monthly spending against the package budget.
  • Evaluate potential claims from contractors and suppliers
  • Prepare instructions for contractors or suppliers

About you:

The successful Quantity Surveyor will:

  • Have a minimum of 6 years' experience working as a Quantity Surveyor
  • Be fully conversant with the NEC form of contract
  • Have a MEP/ Mechanical & Electrical background
  • Demonstrable experience working with main contractors on large, high-value projects
