NXTGEN are delighted to partner with a prestigious global organization, widely regarded as one of the top employers in Peterborough. We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their dynamic team on a 14-month fixed-term contract within one of their most exciting divisions. As a Management Accountant, you will engage with various stakeholders across the organization, providing a dynamic mix of high-level business partnering and month-end accounting. Your role will be pivotal in driving financial insights and supporting strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• P&L Ownership: Assist in managing the division's Profit & Loss statements, including monthly and weekly reporting.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the preparation of budgets and forecasts, while critically evaluating and challenging assumptions when necessary.
• Financial Reconciliations: Manage balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Stakeholder Reporting: Present and provide insightful commentary on monthly financial results to key stakeholders.
• Ad Hoc Support: Collaborate with the Finance Manager on various ad hoc projects and initiatives.
• Quarterly Reporting: Assist in meeting quarterly corporate reporting requirements.

The successful candidate will be a qualified CIMA or ACCA accountant, or a finalist, with a strong commercial mindset and experience in budgeting and forecasting. Effective stakeholder engagement skills are essential, as you will be partnering with various teams across the organization.

Salary: £45,000 - £48,000 depending on experience.
