Exciting Project Manager Opportunity! BMR require a Project Manager to oversee projects across a diverse manufacturing facility in the area. You will join a multi technical team delivering projects embedded within a prestigious manufacturing facility, notably in Derby with additional sites nationwide.

Role Purpose:
- We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of projects across various sites in Derby and the Midlands. In this role, you'll ensure projects are executed safely and efficiently, adhering to high standards in health, safety, quality, cost, and program delivery. You will act as Principal Contractor under CDM legislation and meet industry-specific standards. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Project Management: Lead and manage projects with values ranging from £50k to £15m. Ensure projects are delivered according to the NEC3 Framework Contract and within the agreed program.
- Health & Safety Leadership: Provide robust health and safety leadership, promoting a culture of safety and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, including Health & Safety, Quality Assurance, and Engineering standards.
- Risk Management: Support and implement effective risk management processes to ensure safe and timely project completion.
- Client & Stakeholder Relations: Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to enhance the company's reputation and ensure project success.
- Team Development: Mentor and support direct reports and trainees, contributing to their professional growth.
- Design & Performance: Work closely with design managers to ensure practical, cost-effective, and buildable designs. Support initiatives to improve project performance and commercial outcomes.
- Compliance & Quality: Ensure adherence to relevant standards and regulations, delivering projects that are snag and defect-free. Oversee post-project deliverables, including final accounts and Operation & Maintenance information.
What We Need From You:
- Experience: Proven track record as a Project Manager in the building, construction, or building services industries, with experience in managing projects in occupied buildings and using NEC3 Contracts.
- Health & Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with health and safety procedures and regulations across multiple sites.
Qualifications:
- Relevant construction qualification (City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent), along with SMSTS, JIB/BESA, CSCS Card, and First Aid certification.
- Skills: Proficient in IT software packages including MS Office and tablet-based quality assurance software. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with a proactive approach.
- Commitment: Reliable, conscientious, and flexible, with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
