About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team in Birmingham for a tower block refurbishment project. The role involves working with plaster boards, timbers, and performing detailed cutting-in tasks. If you have a strong background in carpentry and are ready to start on 27th August, we want to hear from you. A valid CSCS card is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and refurbish plaster boards, ensuring a high-quality finish.
  • Work with timbers, including cutting, fitting, and adjustments as required for the project.
  • Carry out detailed cutting-in work, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure smooth progress of the refurbishment.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Complete tasks efficiently to meet project deadlines while upholding quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a carpenter, with specific experience in working on high-rise or tower block projects.
  • Strong skills in plaster boarding, timber work, and cutting-in.
  • Valid CSCS card is mandatory.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Own tools and PPE are required.
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential, with a commitment to starting on 27th August.
