Here at Remedicare, we are searching for experienced Senior care assistants to be apart of a highly rated and well-established care home in Bristol. At this care home they take pride in the work they do and provide excellent care for all residents within the home. Job type – Senior care assistant 

• Part time / Full time (24 – 36) 

This is the minimum and maximum number of hours a week. They are looking for Senior healthcare assistants who are flexible and can-do alternate weekends.  

Job Description: Senior Care Assistants play a crucial role in ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality of care. They inspire and support our care team to be person-centered in their approach, providing guidance, training, and mentoring. In addition to working alongside our Care Team as a role model, they also support external multi-disciplinary team visits and help create new care plans and conduct assessments. 

Shift and schedule – Senior care assistant 

• 12h shift 

• 8am-8pm 

• 8am-2pm 

• Rotational weekends 

• Days only 

If you are a Senior care assistant who loves a long day you have the option to do 8am-8pm. (12h shifts). However, if you prefer split shifts 8am-2pm across more days a week may suit you better.  

Either one of the shift times are optional. Alternate weekends are still required for both split shifts and 12-hour shifts.  

This home is only looking for Senior healthcare assistants for days. At this current time, there are no nights available.  

Requirements – senior care assistant 

• Medication Trained (Preferred)

• NVQ 2 

If you are a Senior healthcare assistant who has medication training and their NVQ level 2 in health and social care. You would be considered a good fit for the role due to them both being requirements for the role. 

 Unfortunately, without NVQ 2 you wouldn’t be accepted for this role.
