Starting from September on a long term contract

Hours: Full time

Pay: £75-£85 per day

Supply Desk are working with a relatively small local primary school in the Waterlooville area who are currently seeking 2 Teaching Assistants. The school is warm and welcoming with children being proud to belong and keen to discuss the schools ethos and expectations.

Job Description:

• Desire to work in either Year 2 or Year 6
• Working with small groups delivering interventions such as Reading, Maths and Literacy
• ICT literate and able to support children with simple ICT tasks
• Part time role with the opportunity of a permanent contract
• Location: Outskirts of Portsmouth area
• Start Date: September 2024
• Contract Length: Long Term – Potential to become permanent
• Hours: Full time 08:00 – 15:00

Individual Profile:

• A nurturing and caring nature
• GCSE Maths and English to A- C grade
• Experience of working with children/young people
• Passionate, enthusiastic and proactive individual
• Adaptable and sensitive when dealing with challenging situations
• First Aid trained or be willing to be trained
