Science Teacher – Alternative Provision
Are you a QTS Science Teacher looking for a change from teaching in mainstream education? Or are you a Science Teacher who has already worked within Alternative Provisions and fell in love with teaching small groups? This school needs you!

This dynamic school is looking to add a science teacher to the tea to teach small classes of Key Stage 3 & 4 students who have struggled to engage with mainstream education. As a science teacher at this school, you will be given full autonomy to plan and deliver lessons that are tailored to the needs of your students. You will be teaching classes of no more than 8 students and will be supported by an experienced teaching assistant, allowing you to focus on delivering engaging lessons. Leadership at this school are supportive and truly want the best for their students. Job Role:
  • Teaching Science to small classes of students with SEMH needs.
  • Breaking down academic barriers, ad inspiring a love for science.
  • Making Science interesting for students who have become disengaged with education.
  • Utilising a team of experienced Teaching Assistants to provide tailored support for student.
  • Taking part in whole school activities and training.
