We're seeking a talented individual to join our client based in Huddersfield and contribute to the precision machining of components using CNC turning techniques. Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, program, and operate CNC turning machines with FANUC controls to produce high-quality precision components according to engineering specifications.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to determine machining requirements and tooling setups.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, tool changes, and adjustments to ensure optimal performance and minimise downtime.
• Monitor machining processes and inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues, including programming errors, tool wear, and dimensional inaccuracies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner, with proficiency in programming and operating machines with FANUC control systems.
• Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling selection, and cutting parameters.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, GD&T symbols, and geometric tolerances.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to safety protocols and practices in a manufacturing environment.
