Our client, a well-established accountancy firm, are seeking an experienced Tax Senior to join their dynamic team. If you have a strong background in tax, ideally within a practice environment, and are ready to support the growth of their tax department, this role could be your perfect fit!

Responsibilities of the Tax Senior:

• Oversee tax compliance for 200-250 clients, including personal tax clients, directors, high-net-worth individuals, and partnerships.
• Complete and file all statutory tax returns on time, maintaining accuracy and adherence to best practices.
• Build strong relationships with clients, keeping them informed about their obligations, deadlines, and any relevant legislative changes.
• Work closely with the Senior Tax Manager and Tax Partner, providing clear and structured compliance files for review.
• Keep up to date on technical matters and anticipate upcoming changes in tax legislation.

Essential Experience:

• ATT Qualified or QBE with a solid background in personal tax return compliance and partnership tax returns.
• Organised and proactive with strong time management and prioritisation skills to ensure all deadlines are met.
• Excellent communication both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
• A team player, motivated and willing to support the growth of the tax team.
• Bonus points if you have experience with IRIS or Xero.
