SC1 Recruitment is thrilled to partner with a premier UK supplier of bespoke manufactured products, based in Birmingham with occasional travel to the Leicester branch.

About the Role:

As the Sales Surveyor, you’ll attend pre-booked appointments, showcasing tailored product solutions to customers, securing sales, and coordinating with the installation team. You’ll be covering Birmingham and nearby regions, working remotely, with occasional trips to Leicester (1 in 4 Saturday mornings).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement: Attend and manage pre-booked, qualified appointments, serving as the primary contact for surveying customer properties/sites.
  • Time Management: Efficiently organise your schedule to visit 6-7 customers daily, understanding their needs to promote and sell relevant products while embodying company values.
  • Precision Measuring: Ensure high accuracy in measuring for new and replacement products.
  • Sales Development: Actively contribute to driving branch sales through proactive customer interactions and developing new sales leads and opportunities.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with both customers and colleagues.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven sales experience, particularly in industries such as window/door fitting, aluminium doors, bi-folding, joinery, construction, or home improvements.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated accuracy in measuring products.
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Valid UK driving license.
