Permanent – 40 Hours per week

We have a new, exciting position for an enthusiastic Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join our team within Lovell’s Midlands region, working on various projects around the Midlands region.

Joining our commercial team, you’ll help in assisting in the delivery of a variety of schemes / projects, whilst progressing with on-the-job learning. Reporting to our Senior Quantity Surveyor and Managing Quantity Surveyor, you’ll assist in project cost control procedures in particular, re-measurement of the works / variations, inventories of stocks and evaluation of the Interim / Final Accounts.

We are open to applications from all candidates educated to a minimum of A level standard or equivalent. You will need to have experience and an interest in the construction industry and willing to work towards an apprenticeship degree in Quantity Surveying. With the ability to apply yourself in a professional manner, with the eagerness to learn from your peers, you’ll have excellent communication skills with the drive to learn and the ambition to build and progress on your career with Lovell.
