Paying up to £45k, our client is recruiting for a Management Accountant on a permanent basis. The role offers study support alongside hybrid and flexible working. This award winning company situated in prominent offices in Liverpool, has a fantastic culture whilst creating a positive impact.

The Role

A key member of a business function, this role is for someone with the ability to support several clients within a consultative environment, alongside a finance business partner.  This would be suited to individuals from a not-for-profit background.

Key accountabilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts for a range of varied clients.
• Running the month end process, posting the payroll journal, preparing all accruals and prepayments, identifying and correcting anomalies.
• Reconcile and manage deferred income and accrued income on grants/restricted projects.
• Production of the standard management accounts packs for several clients
• Preparation of Cash Flow Forecasts
• Preparation of Budgets
• Working with budget-holders and regularly attend meetings to support clients.
• Work with organisational stakeholders at all levels: board, leadership teams, and finance staff, to improve financial controls, systems and processes.

The Person

The person needs to be highly organised with a methodical approach and someone with excellent communication skills as you will be working across a range of clients.

You will ideally be a studier (ACCA/CIMA) as the company offers study support or qualified. You will have effective time management skills and be able to prioritise important tasks. You will be dynamic and will have the desire to learn and develop to take on further responsibilities in the future.
