Projects and Data Analyst

Ashton, Near Wigan

£30K-35K (dependent on experience)

A Project and Data Analyst is required for our manufacturing client who are based near Wigan. The Analyst will be responsible for providing the monthly documentation and reports required for the CEO be presented to the Board of Directors. The successful candidate will report to the Sales & Marketing Director work closely with the CEO and other senior managers to collect, analyse, and present data and insights. The analysis part of the role will take up circa 2 weeks of each month and during the other two weeks there will be a requirement to project manage and report on the company's plans, as well as assist the senior management team with other ad hoc tasks as needed. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, project management, communication, and organisational skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Create the monthly documentation and reports.
  • Ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and relevance of the data and information used.
  • Use various tools and methods to collect, analyse, and visualise data from internal and external sources.
  • Identify and communicate key trends, patterns, and insights from the data and information.
  • Prepare and deliver clear and concise presentations and summaries to the CEO and other senior managers.
  • Identify areas of improvement to enhance data capture and improve accuracy of reporting.
  • Support Senior managers with ad hoc tasks and projects as needed, such as: research, analysis.
  • Maintain and update the document template and format to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to gather and share data and information.
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments and best practices.
  • Co-ordinate, project manage and report on the Company plan -an existing programme to increase efficiencies, revenues and opportunities.

Experience required:

  • At least two years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and other data analysis and visualisation tools.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey data and information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Excellent organisational, time management, and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
