ADA is seeking a Python Developer with 7+ years of experience to join a Fintech’s team to help in developing high-performance trading systems and architecture.

The company is looking to scale up over the next 18 months and the ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in financial services/investment management environments, leading the charge in the support of their high-frequency trading operations.

An ideal candidate with have extremely strong skills in pure Python development as well as a background in Data Engineering and Finance.

This position is based in London with 2 days expected in the office per week, paying circa £120k + Bonus, Shares, and Training budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize Python-based trading applications
• Collaborate with quantitative analysts to implement trading algorithms
• Contribute to codebase including design, testing, and support of a major internal platform
• Participate in system design and architecture discussions
• Carry out document systems and processes
• Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, etc.
• 7+ years in Python and libraries like PyTorch, NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, QuantLib, etc
• Experience with Data Engineering
• Experience in Systems that handle high-throughput, low-latency data
• Experience with multi-threading, concurrency, and high-frequency trading (HFT).
• Experience with AWS or GCP
