Welder, Blandford, up to £650 per week

Purpose

Are you skilled MIG or TIG welder looking for new position? Or do you enjoy welding in your spare time and keen to kick start a new career? We're currently supporting a number of businesses in and around North Dorset in their search for welders.

The positions we're currently recruiting for vary in skillset, ranging from skilled and experienced MIG & TIG welders through to those with limited experience looking to progress.

Responsibilities

As a welder, your responsibilities will include:

  • MIG welding on large, heavy duty projects
  • Supporting several projects at any given time, each of which is likely to vary in scale and urgency
  • Basic inspection of completed parts
  • Adhering to health and safety requirements at all times
  • General housekeeping duties

Background

As a welder, you will have:

  • Previous welding (MIG) or fabricator experience from either a professional or hobbyist environment
  • Understanding of technical drawings and be able to interpret safety instructions, specifications, and manuals
  • High attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as a team
  • Residence within sensible distance to our customers’ site as relocations won’t be considered
  • Consistent work history and employers we can obtain references from
