Full time permanent position

As an Occupational Health Advisor you will be working as an OHA you will be working 1 day in the Birmingham Medical Center 1 days in the East Midlands Medical Center ,or case management 2-3 days case management/remotely on customer sites across the area of  Birmingham, East Midlands.

This arrangement is subject to change depending on business needs. This is a fantastic role for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to work autonomously. You will be supported remotely by an Occupational Health Manager.

Your main duties will include:

- Sickness absence management

- Health assessments

- Health surveillance

Required Qualifications

  • Degree, Diploma or Certificate in Occupational Health (and be on Part 3 of NMC Register) with evidence of continual professional development
  • A qualification in Hand Arm Vibration and experience of collecting samples for drug and alcohol testing using chain of custody protocols is desirable
  • The ability to carry out medicals / surveillance including audiometry, spirometry, skin assessment, HAVS and safety critical medicals
  • Be competent in the use of computers including Microsoft and Excel software.
