About the role: SEN Teaching Assistant: Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? Our vibrant primary school in Brent is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with challenging behaviours. Starting in September 2024, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a school where every day brings a new and rewarding experience. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll be working closely with students in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, providing crucial support to help them overcome behavioural challenges and thrive in their learning environment. You’ll be part of a dynamic team, collaborating with teachers and other staff to create an inclusive, supportive atmosphere for all students.

Application Requirements: 

• Level 2 or 3 Qualification in Teaching Assistance preferred, but not essential with relevant experience.
• Experience working with children with challenging behaviours.
• Strong Communication Skills to liaise effectively with students, staff, and parents.
• A Positive Attitude and a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs.

 Key Responsibilities: 

• Provide one-on-one support to students with challenging behaviours.
• Assist the classroom teacher in managing the classroom and delivering tailored lessons.
• Monitor and report on student progress, adapting strategies as needed.
• Foster a positive learning environment where all students feel safe and supported.
