Job Description:
PSR are seeking a skilled and reliable Bricklayer to work on a construction site in Southwick , on behalf of our client who has a nationwide presence. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing and repairing walls, partitions, arches, and other structures using bricks, blocks, and other materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lay bricks, blocks, and other materials to construct or repair walls, partitions, arches, and other structures.
- Interpret blueprints and drawings to determine specifications and calculate the materials required.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto a slab or foundation.
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut and shape bricks and blocks.
- Inspect work for accuracy and quality.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bricklayer.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
- Good physical condition and stamina.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid CSCS card.
- NVQ in bricklaying (Preffered)
