Process Engineer
As a result of sustained business wins we have an opportunity for an experienced Process Engineer to contribute to our client’s on-going success by optimising existing processes and managing the regular introduction of new products in to a state of the art manufacturing facility
What you’ll be doing
- Understand, manage and resolve process technical issues
- Manage equipment requirements for new product introductions
- Ensure all machinery and equipment is available for production schedules
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement required changes
- Liaise with design / engineering on DfM aspects of new products
- Generate SOP’s and ECN’s
Experience you will have:
- Ideally holds an HNC / HND in a relevant engineering subject
- Process engineering experience in an assembly or electro-mechanical production environment
- Excellent communicator and able to work effectively with members of other departments
- Demonstrable success using problem solving, process improvement and lean manufacturing techniques
