Established production engineering company in Avonmouth are recruiting for a cnc operator, cnc Machinist, cnc miller working in a small team of CNC machinists on a weekend shift pattern working Saturday and Sunday reporting to the CNC Supervisor.

The cnc operator, cnc Machinist, cnc miller role will involve the following

• cnc machining
• Milling, drilling and skimming metal
• Working with existing proved out programs
• Fanuc controls
• Changing tooling and basic settings
• Working with raw materials to engineering drawings and dimensions

Ideally the cnc operator, cnc Machinist, cnc miller will have

• A production background in an engineering environment and or qualifications or training in CNC operating and machining.
• However candidates able to demonstrate a relevant work history in this type of role and experience with other types of CNC equipment i.e.cnc turning or cnc drilling and may have transferable skills suitable for this position.
