Elevation have the pleasure of working exclusively with an industry leading manufacturing client in the Barnsley area who are looking to recruit an experienced Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their well established team.

Salary: £42,000
Location: Barnsley
Hours: Days and afters – Monday to Friday

Duties of a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer:

• Being proactive within the job focussing on preventative maintenance as well as reactive maintenance of the infrastructure and Mechanical Control Systems.
• Attending to breakdowns
• Actively working with the continuous improvement team to ensure yourself and the company are the best it can be!
• Dealing with PPM’s
• Working within a team environment- you will usually be partnered up with another Electrical Engineer throughout the day
• Fault finding on PLC’s

Desired experience:

• You must have at least Level 3 or above in Electrical Engineering (City and Guilds or NVQ based)
• It would be advantageous for you to have HNC and HND qualifications but not essential
• Must have manufacturing experience.
• Ideally have experience with CNC/ wood working machinery
• Have experience of working within a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer role previously
• Knowledge and experience of PLC’s would be advantageous
• Must be happy within a team environment, whilst also being capable of working from own initiative
• Great communication skills (reading and spoken English is Essential
