Position: Senior Support Worker
Location: Tyseley / Sparkhill / Acocks Green
Salary: £24,375 (£12.50 Per Hour) + £60 per sleep in
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Shift Pattern: 7.30am – 10pm (7 days on and 2 off) / 5 Sleep in's per month
 
We are seeking dedicated and experienced Senior Support Worker’s to join our team. You will play a key role in overseeing the delivery of high-quality care within a children’s setting, ensuring that all care plans are followed accurately and be the lead person on shift. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our service users.

Key Responsibilities:

• To be responsible to the Registered manager, for the day-to-day duties within the home and the care and support of the residents.
• To implement and follow the home’s operational policies, and the care practice standards.
• To be the lead person on shift responsible for the safety and support of the young people in the home
• To provide and ensure that care is within a warm and supportive atmosphere.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar role within the care sector.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A compassionate and patient-centred approach.
• Relevant qualifications in health and social care (NVQ Level 3 or above preferred).
