Community Manager- Reading- £65,000pa + 10% discretionary bonus!

One Property Recruitment have been instructed upon the search for a Community Manager to join one of their flagship sites in the heart of Reading. 

About the client/ development:

My client is one of the fastest growing Build to Rent operators in the UK. The development consists of high-end apartments in the heart of Reading, which are built solely for the purpose of renting. 

About the role:

• Carry the responsibility of building and maintaining the reputation and the brand of this building.

• Drive revenue, through striving towards full occupancy and motivating residents to renew their tenancies. 

• Conduct all recruitment and training of onsite staff within the development.

• Develop an events programme for the residents and execute this, to ensure that you are striving for resident engagement and developing a strong sense of community.

• Manage all budgets.

• Manage all health and safety and ensure that you and the team are regularly flagging maintenance issues to the maintenance team.

• Provide consistently exceptional customer service to all residents, and other stakeholders. 

The correct candidate will be highly commercial and will be consistently looking for opportunities to drive revenue. You will have the energy and interpersonal skills equipped to drive the community of the development. You will ensure that the asset stays maintained to the highest value. 

I am looking for the following attributes/ skillset:

• Experience within the Build to Rent sector, property sector, PBSA, or hospitality sector, at General Manager level.

• Have a passion for top notch customer service.

• An exceptional understanding of health and safety regulations.

• A clear communication style.

• Be extremely organised.

• Have a great understanding of how to run a Build to Rent company.

• Have great leadership experience and abilities.

• Be able to work well under pressure.

• Have a good understanding of all health and safety regulations.
