Madisons Recruitment are actively seeking a Quality Manager for a client of ours based in Stansted, Essex.

Responsibilities

• Resolving and/or reporting technical problems/design issues to design manager
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Identify and address any quality issues or defects in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Site Managers, and Contractors to ensure quality standards are met.
• Review and approve construction plans, specifications, and materials for quality assurance.
• Train and mentor staff on quality control processes and best practices.
• Prepare and present quality reports to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
•  Present findings and key issues at the Directors Site Visit Meetings.
• Assist Customer Care with complex post-completion defects.

Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Building Surveying, or a related field would be beneficial.
• To have proven experience as a Quality Manager in the construction industry, preferably in home building.
• To have a strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and quality standards.
• To have excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• To have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• To have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• To have a detailed and in depth knowledge of the NHBC standards and building regulations requirements.
• To be proficient in quality management software and tools – Fieldview mainly.
