Network Engineer - SC or DV Cleared

A great opportunity for a Network Engineer (eSC or DV) to be a part of a key project transforming Defence Technology Services with cutting-edge digital solutions and innovative technology. If you’re a Cisco-focused network professional holding SC or DV clearance this role can be your next technical challenge.

Working in a hybrid capacity on a very secure site (eSC or DV Clearance required) based in York 2 days a week.

Responsibilities:


  • Implement and maintain network infrastructure (firewalls, switching, routing, IPS)
  • Leverage your knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure or OCI)
  • Collaborate with various departments to meet network requirements
  • Monitor and optimize network performance
  • Provide timely support and resolve network issues


Requirements:


  • Experience with firewalls and firewalling
  • CCNA certification or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in switching and routing
  • Hands-on experience with Azure or OCI
  • eSC or DV Clearance
 
The ideal candidate will also have a working Knowledge of some of the following:



  • F5 Load Balancers and Fortinet products
  • CCNP certification
  • Datacenter operations
  • Azure or OCI
  • ServiceNow and SolarWinds
