Genuit Group plc is the UK’s largest provider of sustainable water, climate and ventilation products for the built environment. The Group, across 26 sites, primarily serves the UK and European building and construction markets with a presence in Italy and the Netherlands and sells to specific niches in the rest of the world.

Role Purpose

Reporting to the Head of Group Reporting the role is a central finance role within the Group Finance Function and will be accountable for continuously improving, producing, and maintaining all internal and external Group Reporting requirements.

The role will be based in Leeds on a hybrid basis with some travel to other sites when required.

Key Responsibilities

· Production of Group consolidated monthly management accounts and finance pack including providing comprehensive analysis, variances to budget and forecasts and raising issues on a timely basis

· Production of monthly management accounts for payroll costs across the Group and share based payments, including detailed balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring full integrity of the balance sheet.

· Liaising with the tax team and advisors on all share based payment schemes and providing accurate information on a timely basis

· Liaising with all areas of finance, ensuring all divisions have validated their monthly results, whilst managing issue resolutions

· Liaising with Group auditors and ensuring subsidiary audits are progressing in line with reporting timetable and confirming key deadlines are met

· Assisting in the preparation of Group Annual Report and Accounts, trading statements, interim reports and investor presentations

· Accountable for full end to end preparation of subsidiary statutory accounts, through to audit sign off and delivery to Companies House working alongside the Company Secretarial team

· Contribute to a robust end to end Financial Control framework, implementing appropriate fully documented procedures, processes and controls

· Identify and provide effective solutions for continual process improvement driving automation of processes

· Supporting the development of the current reporting suite to dashboard analytics

· Prepare draft monthly forecast and annual budget for Group payroll and share based payments including valuation of new schemes

· Assist in managing and collating the annual consolidated Group budget and five-year plan and associated reporting packs

· Responsible for CAPEX and expenses system across the Group

· Lead on adhoc project work across the Reporting team

Skills, Experience and Capabilities required

· Newly / Qualified (ACA / ACCA)

· Strong technical accounting skills with experience of operating within a highly effective team

· Highly numerate with the ability to analyse and evaluate information, with high attention to detail

· Confident and credible in dealing with internal and external stakeholders at all levels

· Well-organised and efficient with a ‘right first time’ approach to quality of work

· Consistently positive attitude and a ‘can do’ approach

· Creative and able to act on own initiative with the ability to adapt quickly to different situations

· Computer and IT literate with advanced excel skills

· Experience of consolidation or accounts preparation software an advantage but not essential.
