Service Coordinator

• Location: Thetford, Norfolk
• Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am-17:00. No Weekends
• Salary: £33,000 basic p.a. 
• Benefits: Company Pension / Holiday Allowance: 25 days + bank holidays.
• Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Our client has been trading for over 65 years, and have been developing, maintaining, producing and selling a range of drain cleaning equipment worldwide. They are able to demonstrate their equipment knowledge base, our bespoke management software and mobile operational coverage is suitable for their customers.

The Service Co-Ordiantor Role:

• Office / phone based.
• Looking after 4 Mobile Engineers and 4 workshop staff. Scheduling work for a team mobile plant engineers.
• Reading and understanding job sheets.
• Producing job cards. 
• Ordering parts – good mechanical understanding needed as some parts are obscure.
• Invoice sales orders after processing.

Service Co-Ordinator Candidate Requirements:

• Have exceptional communication skills and be able to manage and control engineers by phone and email – so building relationships is key.
• Previous automotive experience from an automotive service dept background.
• Good at organising diaries for people.
• Good on spreadsheets and Microsoft platforms.
• Be a very organised person and have a can-do attitude.

You need to be able to work well alone as well as be a team player, able to work to deadlines, coupled with the ability to use your own initiative.

Motor Trade experience is essential.
