About our Client : A dynamic and growing Managed IT Services solutions and Consultancy provider committed to delivering exceptional technical support to its customers. They are seeking a talented Service Operations Administrator to join their service support team Headquartered in Pampisford, Cambridgeshire, UK.

Role Overview: As a Junior Desktop Support Engineer, you will provide first-line technical support to our clients, both remotely and on-site. You will be responsible for resolving hardware and software issues, ensuring optimal system performance, and delivering excellent customer service.

Our customers are very important to us, Delivering exceptional customer support is essential. This includes keeping customers informed throughout the resolution process.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to users via phone, email, and remote access.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues. (Desktop/Network/Security)
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software. (Intune
  • Assist with the deployment and configuration of desktop computers and peripherals.
  • Document and track all support incidents and resolutions.
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level support when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Attend client sites as required to provide on-site support.

Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware and software.
  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • A valid driving license is required for on-site support.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with IT support or help desk environment.
  • Knowledge of common IT applications and software.
  • IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+).
