Global FMCG manufacturing business require a Production Planner. Applicants need production planning experience, ideally within the PP module of SAP, be comfortable interpreting data sets and an appreciation of SIOP considerations.

The Production Planner will join a team of Production Planning professionals, planning manufacturing activities across the EMEA region. This role will focus on local planning activities for the Basingstoke facility. This is an excellent opportunity to join a global business who are leader within their field and have a proven track record of developing staff and promoting from within.

The specific duties of the Production Planner include:

• Create and execute production plans that align with the site SIOP strategies
• Capacity Planning activities
• Use of SAP - planning, data validation, create and review reports
• Analysing and manipulating data in MS Excel
• Advising procurement of risks to the production plans and mitigating these
• Monitoring and analysis of inventory levels
• Process improvement work to support improved efficiencies within supply chain SOPs

Production Planner applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Production Planning, Supply Planning, Materials Planning or Scheduling experience
• MRP/ERP experience, SAP would be preferred and exposure to the PP module a bonus
• Strong analytical skills
• Appreciation of LEAN inventory management, SIOP, capacity planning and forecasting techniques
• Motivated, self-starter
• Comfortable working in Basingstoke, with hybrid options.
