This fantastic company specialise in the design & manufacture of bespoke products for their clients and due to a very full order book they are now looking for an experienced Design Engineer to join their passionate team in Brackley.

In this role you will be creating new product designs and leading design reviews with an emphasis on design for manufacture. You will work alongside electronics & concept Design Engineers as part of a design team, to create bespoke products for varied & interesting projects.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in designing products for manufacture, to join a continually expanding company in a varied & interesting role. The role:

• Designing new products for manufacture
• Working with internal teams to optimize designs for manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and profit
• Work with production teams to optimise the design for assembly and durability
• Prepare and maintain manufacturing documentation, including bills of materials (BOMB) and work instructions

The person:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in mechanical design
• Knowledge of product design & design for manufacture
• Fusion 360, SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD modelling software
• Excellent time management, organization, problem solving & communication skills
• Passionate about providing excellent customer service
