Exciting Opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to Join a Growing, Family-Run Organisation!

Location: Manchester
Hours: Mon-Fri, with travel and the opportunity to work offshore
Salary: Salary + overtime and offshore uplifts. Van provided.

With over 20 years of experience, they’ve built a strong reputation for safeguarding people and assets—and they’re rapidly expanding!

Our client has recently secured a multi-million-pound contract to deliver an offshore wind farm project. We’re on the lookout for a talented and motivated Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team.

In this role, you’ll contribute to critical renewable energy projects, as well as onshore industrial and commercial projects. Working in an industry where safety and innovation are paramount, you’ll have the opportunity to make a significant impact while expanding your skills and expertise.

What You Need to Succeed in This Role:

  • Education: HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or completion of an Electrical Apprenticeship
  • Certifications: 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Desirable: COMPEX/ATEX certification
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and fix electrical issues efficiently.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with tools, equipment, and software used in industrial electrical work.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Teamwork: Strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a larger maintenance or engineering team.
  • Willingness to travel and work away from home when necessary


Desirable:

  • Experience with PLC/SCADA systems
  • Knowledge of Fire Alarms/Fire Detection systems
