**Job Title:** Ecologist

**Salary:** Up to £30,000

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and motivated Ecologist to join a leading multidisciplinary consultancy based in Sheffield. If you're looking to be part of a dynamic team working on a range of projects in masterplanning, urban design, and green infrastructure, this could be the perfect role for you.

**About the Role:**

As an Ecologist, you'll play a key role in the Sheffield office, managing a variety of projects and providing expert advice on ecology and biodiversity to clients, stakeholders, and project teams. You'll be responsible for leading ecological surveys, conducting impact assessments, and evaluating biodiversity net gain. Your role will also involve preparing ecological reports and strategies, implementing biodiversity enhancement measures, and mentoring junior team members. You'll be working closely with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies, helping to build and maintain strong working relationships.

**About You:**

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A full UK driving licence (essential)
• A BSc in a relevant discipline (essential)
• Membership with CIEEM (essential)
• Protected species licence(s)
• Experience in botany would be an advantage
