Are you passionate about sustainable building design and keen to make a tangible impact on the built environment? Our client is seeking for a talented and driven Building Physics Engineer to join their dynamic team in Cambridge.

As a Building Physics Engineer, you will play a crucial role in projects, focusing on optimising energy performance, indoor environmental quality, and sustainability. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to deliver innovative solutions that meet both client needs and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thermal modeling, energy analysis, and daylight simulations.
  • Provide expert advice on building envelope performance, HVAC systems, and energy-efficient design strategies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate sustainable practices into all phases of the building lifecycle.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A degree in Sustainable Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with building simulation software, specifically IES VE
  • Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and sustainability standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • A passion for innovation and sustainable design.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
