EC&I Engineer
Sellafield (Site based role)
Inside IR35
£45-50 per hour (Umbrella)
 
Our client are a leading engineering company supporting Nuclear projects at Sellafield
They seek a EC&I Engineer to join their busy team and assist them in completing a critical project on the Sellafield Nuclear site.
 
Due to the nature of the project, this role requires site presence at Sellafield 4 days a week, working from the construction office.
 
As a, EC&I Engineer, you will be responsible for:
 
·Delivery of EC&I design and engineering . You will be responsible for production of design documentation along with checking the work of other engineers & designers within your section of the project
·Coordinating with construction to respond to technical queries and other issues raised in relation to EC&I on the project.
·Responsible for coordinating with construction and commissioning to respond to FOB's and defect notices.
·Representative for design on plant walk-downs, snagging, and general inspections
 
To be successful, you must have experience in or hold:
 
·A minimum of HND or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline
·Have clear experience in delivering EC&I design in a similar role/environment, ideally with recent relevant exposure to work in the nuclear industry
·Good communication, analytical and team working skills.
·Experience of taking a senior role in delivering engineering packages
oFamiliar with EC&I deliverables
oDelivery of approved written work, i.e. technical specifications and reports
oFamiliar with a pragmatic approach to the application of applicable standards and practices.
·Experience in taking a deep dive into designs to assure its fitness for purpose re. design process and functionality.
