Position Overview:

Barker Ross is currently seeking Class 1 / HGV 1 Day & Night Drivers to join our client's team based in Liverpool/Knowsley. The primary responsibility will be to complete store deliveries, with general start times on the AM shift from 4am and from 15:30pm onwards for night shifts. Candidates should expect an average of two store deliveries per day, all departing from the depot in Knowsley and delivering to locations throughout the country. The role will involve handling cages, hanging garments, container work, and trunking. Trunking and container work are predominantly on night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

Complete store deliveries efficiently and on time
Handle cages, hanging garments, containers, and trunking tasks
Ensure adherence to all relevant traffic laws and regulations
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle inspections
Collaborate effectively with warehouse staff and other drivers

Requirements:

Valid Class 1 / HGV 1 driving license
Maximum of 6 points accepted on your license
No DD's/DR's
Previous experience in a similar driving role min 6 months
Flexibility to work AM and PM shifts, including weekends
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
