About the role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join our team on a full-time, long-term basis starting in September 2024. You will be responsible for creating an engaging and supportive learning environment for our Year 1 or Year 2 students, helping them build a strong foundation in literacy, numeracy, and social skills.

As a KS1 Teacher, you will be a key player in our small and close-knit school community, working alongside experienced colleagues and support staff to ensure each child reaches their full potential.

Application Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Experience teaching KS1, preferably in a UK primary school setting.

• Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment frameworks.

• Excellent classroom management skills.

• A passion for teaching and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all learners.

• Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and setting appropriate targets.

• Work closely with teaching assistants and other staff to support students with additional needs.

• Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, collaboration, and a love for learning.

• Build strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child’s progress.
