Jewson, a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is on the hunt for a Timber Forklift Driver to join the team in Hull, who is as passionate about great service as we are.

Hours: Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm then 11am to 7pm week about

Location: STARK, Timber Terminal, King George Dock, Yorkshire, HU9 5QE

Key Responsibilities

• Help to prepare timber orders, load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using a Forklift Truck to minimise manual handling (training provided if required)

• Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products

• Use Counter Balance Forklift and Side Loader to move timber around the yard

• Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work

Required Skills and Experience

• Previous Timber Material experience is preferred

• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise work accordingly

• Strong communication skills

• Confident working both indoors and outdoors

• A health and safety focus

• Comfortable in a role involving extensive manual handling of bulky Timber items
